Most days in camp are “ordinary” days with a fixed daily schedule which allows for various activities such as singing, drama, crafts, sports, etc. At the end of each day, campers decide as a group which special activities (courses) they would like to see take place the following day. Apart from “ordinary” days, there are many special days for hikes, excursions, open days, and so on. A typical daily schedule may look something like this:

  • Wake up
    Morgensport (morning games)
    Breakfast
    Putzpause (cleaning period)
    Singing
    First Course Hour
    Merenda (morning break/snack)
    Second Course Hour
  • Free time
    Lunch, followed by rest hour
    Together time
    Merenda (afternoon break/snack) and
planning conference for the next day’s activities
    Third Course Hour
    Free time
    Dinner followed by Abwasch (dishes)
    Evening Program
    Goodnight Circle and lights-out
